Shared Cost Transparency
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, professional fees for joint sessions and drafting are shared equally (50/50) between participants.

Invoicing & Retainer Terms
To ensure smooth administration, professional fees are managed through clear, predictable payment structures outlined in your Agreement to Mediate.
- Invoicing Cadence: Invoices are issued following sessions or drafting blocks, detailing time spent in 15-minute increments.
- Accepted Payments: Secure Interac e-Transfer to virginiadavis1981@gmail.com.
- Advance Retainers: For multi-session files or drafting phases, an advance retainer may be requested and held in trust against final accounts.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Mediation requires dedicated blocks of uninterrupted time. Late cancellations prevent other families from accessing timely support.
- Notice Window: A minimum of 2 business days (48 hours) notice is required to cancel or reschedule any intake or mediation session.
- Late Cancellation Fee: Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be billed at the standard hourly rate for the reserved block time.
- Voluntary Pause: Either participant may pause or terminate mediation at any time without penalty for future sessions, effective upon written notice.
