Calm Authority Rooted in Lived Experience & Professional Rigor

Family mediation requires more than neutral paperwork. It demands steady composure, deep active listening, and the structural capacity to guide families through their most difficult transitions.

Guiding Families Through Transition With Courage & Clarity

I am a Family Mediator (AccFM Candidate), Coach, and Writer based in London, Ontario. My practice is built on a fundamental belief: that families navigating separation, aging parents, or ongoing conflict do not need someone to take sides or make their lives more complicated. They need a structured, safe container where difficult conversations can finally turn into workable agreements.

My approach blends rigorous professional training—including formal family mediation training through York University and ongoing professional designations—with the steady, unflappable presence forged over fourteen years in emergency response.

Whether we are sitting across a table in London or connecting securely via Zoom from anywhere in Ontario, my goal remains the same: to help you replace circular arguments with clarity, protect the emotional well-being of your children, and build a calm, durable foundation for your family's future.

Professional Roots

What Shapes My Practice

Effective mediation is born from years of real-world exposure to high-pressure environments, human crisis, and developmental coaching.

14+ Years in Emergency Telecommunications

Before entering family mediation, I spent over fourteen years as an Ambulance Communications Officer with the Ontario Ministry of Health. On the dispatch floor, lives hung on my ability to listen for what wasn't being said, maintain absolute composure while callers experienced acute terror, and provide calm, authoritative guidance. That same nervous-system regulation and crisis-tested composure forms the backbone of how I manage high-conflict mediation rooms today.

Academic Coaching & Higher Education

My work as an Academic Advisor and Career Coach—including supporting business students at the Ivey Business School—grounded my belief in structured, reflective frameworks. I know how to help individuals unpack overwhelming choices, break complex problems down into manageable steps, and build actionable career and life plans without losing their personal agency.
