Composure under pressure.

Structure for transition.

When family dynamics shift and the future feels uncertain, you do not need more escalation—you need a safe, highly structured space to find a workable path forward.

My name is Virginia Davis.

As a family mediator and professional coach, I combine clinical composure with rigorous, future-focused frameworks to help families navigate transition with courage, clarity, and connection.

Two Worlds of Composure

From Emergency Response to Executive Coaching

My professional path has been defined by a single core commitment: guiding individuals through moments of intense transition and high-stakes change.

• Over 14 Years in Emergency Communications:

Before stepping into family mediation, I spent more than 14 years serving as an Ambulance Communications Officer with the Ontario Ministry of Health. In this high-stress environment, I developed deep clinical composure, learned to cut through chaos, and mastered the art of providing calm, steady, and clear guidance during acute family distress.

• Advising & Coaching at Ivey Business School:

Beyond emergency response, I have spent years as an Academic Advisor and Career Coach at the Ivey Business School. Here, I utilize structured, reflective coaching frameworks to guide professionals through major life and career transitions, empowering them to make decisions aligned with their values and long-term goals.

This unique combination of high-stakes composure and structured coaching allows me to manage an exceptionally steady, safe, and balanced mediation process. I hold the process boundaries so you can focus entirely on your family’s future.

The Principle of Weaving

Our practice is built on the philosophy of weaving.

A family’s story is not a single thread; it is a collection of distinct, interconnected relationships, priorities, and needs. Transition does not mean tearing the fabric apart—it means carefully deconstructing and weaving those threads together differently.

Through mediation, we protect the threads that matter most—especially the best interests of your children—and weave a practical, durable, and dignified framework for your family's next chapter.
