Coach Mentoring Agreement

Parties to the Agreement

Mentor Coach: Virginia Davis, BMOS, PCC Candidate
Practice: London, Ontario & Virtual (Zoom)

Program Structure & Duration

This mentoring agreement supports your professional development and credentialing alignment through:

  • 7 group mentoring sessions focused on reflective practice and competency integration.
  • 3 individual mentoring sessions (60 minutes each) tailored to your coaching execution.
  • Review and in-depth analysis of one coaching session recording.

The mentoring process takes place over a minimum period of three months. Upon successful completion of all curriculum hours and requirements, you will receive an official Letter of Completion for ICF credentialing submission.

Focus of Mentoring

  • Systematic review and competency-based evaluation of coaching recordings.
  • Constructive, actionable feedback mapped to the updated ICF Core Competencies.
  • Identifying developmental edges and overcoming coaching plateaus or barriers.
  • Uncovering and moving beyond habitual conversational patterns.
  • Clarifying key boundaries between coaching, managing, counselling, and consulting.
  • Working effectively and grounded with strong client affect (e.g., fear, anger, ambiguity).
  • Deepening adherence to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.
  • Targeted preparation for the ICF Credentialing Written Exam.

Mutual Commitments

Mentor’s Commitment
  • Attending all scheduled video sessions punctually at the agreed times.
  • Maintaining a supportive, respectful, objective, and constructive learning space.
  • Assisting you in identifying blind spots and building deliberate practice toward your credentialing goals.
Coach / Mentee’s Commitment
  • Attending all group and individual calls at the agreed times.
  • Arriving prepared with selected session recordings, targeted challenges, and clear developmental goals.
  • Bringing self-honesty, openness to feedback, curiosity, and courage to your learning edge.
  • Analyzing your own recorded coaching interactions prior to mentoring debriefs.

Confidentiality & Policies

  • Confidentiality: All mentoring conversations, client recording reviews, and related records are strictly confidential. Exceptions apply only with your explicit written consent (for supervisory/accreditation purposes) or where disclosure is mandated by law or child protection regulations.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: Please provide at least 48 business hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an individual session. Sessions missed without adequate notice will be charged in full. If you do not show up for a scheduled call without prior notice, the session will be considered completed.
  • Terms of Agreement: This agreement remains in effect throughout the mentoring lifecycle unless amended in writing by Virginia Davis.
